What it does
- Photo per item — snap it with the camera or pick from the gallery. Thumbnails stay small so the app stays fast.
- Search everything — name, category, location, source, loaned-to, quantity, notes. Think "brass fitting" or "12" and it's there.
- Location + source filters — one tap to see everything on a shelf, or everything from one supplier. Recent entries get one-tap reuse chips.
- Loan tracking — mark who borrowed it, one tap when it comes back.
- Quantity counts — including zero. Searching a number finds it.
- JSON backup — export everything, import it back. Imports are atomic: all or nothing, never half.
- Installs like an app, works offline — add it to your home screen; the whole thing runs without a connection once loaded.
Private by design
No login. No account. No ads. No tracking. No cloud. All data stays in your phone's local storage, and the browser is asked not to evict it. The entire app is a handful of static files — review them yourself.
How it's built
Plain HTML + JavaScript, data in IndexedDB on your device, offline via a service worker. No build step, no framework, no backend. If you can read JavaScript, you can audit the whole thing in an evening.
